Steel roots
We are always happy to take a trip down memory lane to the “old blacksmith’s workshop” in the heart of the Dolomites where it all began – a simple yet very significant place in the Eggental valley where our roots can be found.
This is where PICHLER was made, a product of two very different yet somehow similar personalities who shared a big vision.
Ferdinand had always been fascinated with his father’s craftsmanship as a blacksmith.
Walter felt drawn to architecture and wanted to see the world.
In 1978, the two brothers founded the joint undertaking which these days employs more than 250 staff and boasts countless international projects.
It is a 45-year history that will continue well into the future thanks to the enthusiasm and energy of the new generation of the Pichler family.
