Multipurpose building
WaltherPark Bolzano
WaltherPark is being built in central Bolzano based on plans by the architecture firm David Chipperfield Architect. PICHLER projects is weaving the garments for this futuristic project.
The South Tyrolean steel structure and façade cladding company is planning, producing and installing a building envelope made of 18,600 m2 of glass and metal façades, steel-and-glass roof constructions and skylights, glass balcony separators, and steel balcony railings and guardrails. PICHLER projects’ contribution also ensures that WaltherPark – a complex of flats, offices, a shopping centre, a food hall and a four-star-superior hotel – will meet the requirements of the “CasaClima A Nature” standard.
The sheer scope of the construction project, its urban location surrounded by inner-city traffic, and the large glass panes make WaltherPark a considerable challenge. In its work on this ambitious endeavour, PICHLER projects draws from many years of experience with unusual projects coupled with its employees’ expertise and passion.
