Space for all
The new headquarters of the BFF Banking Group in Milan makes a bold architectural and urban statement.
‘Casa BFF’ forms part of an extensive development project to enhance a transforming city district, marking a significant milestone in the modernisation of the bank's European branches.
Distinctive features include elegant curtain walls and a free-spanning superstructure with photovoltaic modules: a complex 2,600 m² steel structure that crowns the building and serves as an energy-self-sufficient landmark. Certifications to LEED Platinum and WELL Gold standards underscore the high commitment to sustainability and occupant well-being.
The concept, developed by architects Paolo Brescia, Tommaso Principi and Andrea Casetto (OBR) in close collaboration with the project team and general contractor Ediltecno Restauri, centres on an approach that unites ecological responsibility with architectural excellence.
