projects

Our passion and drive have been instrumental to the success of numerous projects both domestically and all around the world.
All of those projects have different characteristics, different background stories and different specific requirements.
But each and every one of them embodies our whole experience.
They are all unique.
From industrial hangars to high-bay warehouses, from bold suspension bridges to glass skyscrapers in the world’s largest cities, we have realised more than 2000 projects over the years.
The following selection showcases our various areas of competence.

Museum

Trieste, memory travels once again

The regeneration of Campo Marzio Station restores to the city a symbolic landmark of its railway and Central European heritage. The project transforms the complex into a new museum, hospitality and cultural destination, preserving the identity of the historic architecture and returning it to the centre of urban life.

The new steel-framed rooftop extension and fully glazed envelope form the structural focus of the project. A non-invasive strengthening system transfers lateral loads to three stiffened cores, safeguarding the listed masonry, while transparent roofs, a panoramic walkway and curtain walling reinterpret the original geometries in a contemporary manner.

On the trackside elevation, a large, glazed screen frames the reinstated historic railway lines. Within the hotel area, subtle reliefs applied to the glass reproduce the columns, cornices and decorative elements of the historic façade. Steel and transparency thus become instruments of active conservation, making the memory of Campo Marzio legible once again.
