We imagine
the future
There are visions that must be realized because the future needs them.
They involve ground-breaking, bold-looking ideas that sustainably drive development, growth and innovation.
The passionate commitment of our family and highly experienced and skilled employees and partners is what makes these projects possible.
Steel structures
We create innovative and bold steel structures that defy gravity and stand the test of time.
They reflect our impressive engineering expertise and flexible approach and benefit from the advice and support that we provide at every stage, from design right through to assembly.
Façades
Every building deserves its own special shell.
We create innovative façades that are planned down to the tiniest of details, are subjected to rigorous tests and push the boundaries of what is possible – true feats of engineering and architectural masterpieces

Steel roots
We are always happy to take a trip down memory lane to the “old blacksmith’s workshop” in the heart of the Dolomites where it all began – a simple yet very significant place in the Eggental valley where our roots can be found.
This is where PICHLER was made, a product of two very different yet somehow similar personalities who shared a big vision.
Ferdinand had always been fascinated with his father’s craftsmanship as a blacksmith.
Walter felt drawn to architecture and wanted to see the world.
In 1978, the two brothers founded the joint undertaking which these days employs more than 250 staff and boasts countless international projects.
It is a 45-year history that will continue well into the future thanks to the enthusiasm and energy of the new generation of the Pichler family.
PICHLER projects
We work together with some of the most well-respected individuals on the regional and international architecture scene to turn our clients’ ideas into reality and create unique buildings and execute innovative projects that feature unparalleled aesthetics.

Perfection in equipment and construction
SALEWA is the European market leader in the segment of high-quality Alpine gear. Its heart beats for the mountains. The distinctive headquarters of the company, based on plans by Cino Zucchi Architetti, soars into the sky in Bolzano. Its design reflects a passion for technology as well as mountains. The structure’s glassy towers house offices, a showroom and storage halls. Unlike other corporate headquarters, it also boasts an impressive climbing gym spanning 2,000 square metres at a height of 24 metres – the largest of its kind in Italy and one of the largest in all of Europe. A publicly accessible park in the southern part of the complex provides green space.
PICHLER projects was a key player in the realisation of these buildings. As well as various steel structures, it supplied the entire complex building envelope, ensuring that the construction projects meets the requirements of the KlimaHaus energy efficiency certification.
