projects

Our passion and drive have been instrumental to the success of numerous projects both domestically and all around the world.
All of those projects have different characteristics, different background stories and different specific requirements.
But each and every one of them embodies our whole experience.
They are all unique.
From industrial hangars to high-bay warehouses, from bold suspension bridges to glass skyscrapers in the world’s largest cities, we have realised more than 2000 projects over the years.
The following selection showcases our various areas of competence.

Shopping center

Timeless modernity

Palais Campofranco, a historical shopping centre, in central Bolzano has been given a timeless makeover.

The façade of the bistro is the heart of the project: it reflects the enormous ginkgo tree which Empress Elisabeth (‘Sissi’) of Austria once gifted her uncle, Archduke Heinrich, then owner of what used to be a royal residence. Its curtain walls consist of double-glazed, screen-printed windows with external sheet metal applications shaped like the leaves of the ginkgo tree.

The load-bearing metal structure of the building roof, which houses the bistro, consists of custom-made weld profiles.

An east-facing pergola has been extended to make space for a new restaurant, which opens towards the adjacent terrace on Waltherplatz. The curved load-bearing steel construction consists of precisely welded supporting panels. It also supports the double-glazed curtain wall vertically.

The owners of the building sought to revive a piece of the city’s history with the renovation and open this special place to the public. It is an architectural masterpiece made for the people of Bolzano.
