A curtain wall façade made in record time
The expansion of the FAE Group headquarters was realised on the basis of plans by Artistudio and the architect Giovanni Berti. With its extraordinary design and the unique composition of volume and materials, it embodies all the innovative technologies that have made the group famous.
The headquarters of the renowned FAE Group in Fondo, Val di Non, consists entirely of steel structures.
Three expansions were built within the scope of the project:
Firstly, the production hall was enlarged to approximately 2,200 square metres. PICHLER projects contributed the metal structures and wall coverings, the roof with skylights, and all windows.
Secondly, the extension of the office building – we manufactured and installed the façades, metal cladding, a glazed inner courtyard and the roof. Finally, the link building was converted and given new metal constructions and a new roof.
We were able to shorten the construction period significantly. The load-bearing structure of the hall, for example, was completed within just five months.
