projects

Our passion and drive have been instrumental to the success of numerous projects both domestically and all around the world.
All of those projects have different characteristics, different background stories and different specific requirements.
But each and every one of them embodies our whole experience.
They are all unique.
From industrial hangars to high-bay warehouses, from bold suspension bridges to glass skyscrapers in the world’s largest cities, we have realised more than 2000 projects over the years.
The following selection showcases our various areas of competence.

3D industrial architecture

375 tonnes of steel and 3,536 square metres of façades: the new branch of Sanitär Heinze in Auer is the manifestation of a joint vision by Pichler Architects and the engineer Alex Cornelio. The multi-functional centre consists of two sections: a two-storey main building comprising many offices, meeting rooms, a showroom and a shop plus a side wing housing the logistics warehouse. Its compact, modular skeleton consists of steel structures based on a reinforced-concrete core. The geometry of the building envelope was initially planned as a 3D model, which was then realised a in a static format. All construction and installation drawings (i.e., the workshop plans) were exported via BIM. Finally, all assembly steps were determined using the same process of building information modeling (BIM) to complete the construction plans for the site.

The industrial character of this architectural work is also reflected in the decision to leave the load-bearing elements and systems uncovered. All beams were painted in total black, making them blend seamlessly into the overall design.
