projects
Our passion and drive have been instrumental to the success of numerous projects both domestically and all around the world.
All of those projects have different characteristics, different background stories and different specific requirements.
But each and every one of them embodies our whole experience.
They are all unique.
From industrial hangars to high-bay warehouses, from bold suspension bridges to glass skyscrapers in the world’s largest cities, we have realised more than 2000 projects over the years.
The following selection showcases our various areas of competence.

The lightness of the sea
The new whale pavilion at the Aquarium of Genoa was designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop. As well as an exciting new attraction, it is an important expansion of the aquarium, which opened its gates more than 21 years ago. Thanks to the close collaboration between Porto Antico di Genova SpA, Costa Edutainment SpA and the local government of Genoa, the unique building project was a major success. The new pavilion is located between the main building of the aquarium and the Grande Nave Blu, a pavilion dedicated to biodiversity. Its south-facing glass façade seamlessly blends into the surrounding area of Porto Antico. The visitor walkway, which runs only three metres above the sea, is also constructed in a way that emphasises lightness. Inside the pavilion, there are four open pools (one main show pool, a breeding pool, a pool for medical treatment and a grooming pool) for ten dolphins.
A total of 1,000 square metres of decorative façades made from concrete panels and around 1,700 square metres of glass façades were used for the new building. The curtain wall consists of a very thin, 12-millimetre stainless-steel grid and a thermal separator. It lightens the pavilion visually and is doubtlessly the highlight of this unique project.
