projects

Our passion and drive have been instrumental to the success of numerous projects both domestically and all around the world.
All of those projects have different characteristics, different background stories and different specific requirements.
But each and every one of them embodies our whole experience.
They are all unique.
From industrial hangars to high-bay warehouses, from bold suspension bridges to glass skyscrapers in the world’s largest cities, we have realised more than 2000 projects over the years.
The following selection showcases our various areas of competence.

The unbelievable lightness of steel

The cultural centre of Milan, designed by David Chipperfield Architects, consists of innovative façades and steel constructions built by PICHLER projects.

Surrounded by revitalised industrial buildings, the vibrant centre houses all of the world’s cultures.

To the outside, it presents a sequence of cuboid elements fully clad in titanium sheets, designed to recall the industrial past of the former technology corporation Ansaldo. These robust, angular shapes protect the heart of the building: the light-flooded, four-winged atrium made from satin glass.

The atrium, the façades and the entire building envelope are the result of tireless work by a team of engineers and technicians who put their all into this ambitious and rewarding project.

They have created an unbelievably lightweight and compact steel construction. Thanks to the straightforward organisation and logistics of the construction site, situated within existing buildings, its realisation was not particularly challenging.
