projects

Our passion and drive have been instrumental to the success of numerous projects both domestically and all around the world.
All of those projects have different characteristics, different background stories and different specific requirements.
But each and every one of them embodies our whole experience.
They are all unique.
From industrial hangars to high-bay warehouses, from bold suspension bridges to glass skyscrapers in the world’s largest cities, we have realised more than 2000 projects over the years.
The following selection showcases our various areas of competence.

Multipurpose building

Steel trees

Verona’s new exhibition plaza, dubbed Neuer Eingang Re Teodorico, boasts a true eye-cacher: its spectacular steel roof spans an area of 6,750 square metres.

The steel tube profiles of the L-shaped roof form a pattern of Thiessen polygons. Its modules come in 36 different forms and are arranged in an alternating pattern that covers the entire space. Each module is covered with a cushion made from ETFE, an innovative, transparent and lightweight plastic that is resilient, entirely permeable to light and UV radiation, fully recyclable and insulating.

The architectural masterpiece is based on a 3D model created in BIM by the project planner. PICHLER’s planning office developed this model further, incorporating all constructional characteristics. The result of this partnership was a parametric model based on the BIM format produced by Maffeis Engineering.
